Darwin design – Book early

The studio has been abuzz of late with a jumble of projects on the go so please be sure to book in early for your personalised Lady Darwin Design experience.

With the rest of the world in a state of corona shutdown we are very lucky to be largely unaffected here in sunny Darwin and if anything …the construction industry has got even busier so I am now fully committed until the new year.

14.5.17 ‘Colour inspo for Darwin Interiors”

I find myself once again in awe of the inspiration that swirls around me in every direction of this paradise that I live in, Some days it is a struggle to get on with day to day tasks when you are surrounded by such immense beauty and any infinite number of distractions.

This is just a fraction of the colours of nature inspiring my projects this week:

Happy weekend to you, Especially if you are a mother on this mothers day you beautiful wild wonderful woman.

Lots happens in the world of design in a week. It is sometimes hard to keep up with. Here is what has been inspiring me this week in no particular order of things.

Some bathroom ideas here.

A quirky Manhattan apartment.

Some small space design ideas here.

Some of what went down at Saturday in Design last week. I didn’t attend this event this year and I am not over this yet so it makes me a little bit sulky looking through images of what I missed but I can’t NOT look at them either.

That’s it from me today, people to see… wine to drink 😉

Oh yes how very true!

Sunday session 3.7.16

Drawing, gardening, writing, selecting, meeting, inspecting, drinking.

That is what my week has consisted of and despite it being a hectic and productive one I still feel like I have lots to do, but not today …. today I will recharge my energy by sitting in the sun with sandy toes and wild hair. I know my limits and that overworking will only make my mind dull and devoid of the sparks needed to excel at design. I love what I do when I have the time to enjoy the process.
