Sunday session 11.5.14

My mother and I at the MONA gallery in Tasmania last year, a trip we took to celebrate her 60th birthday

Today’s sunday session was delayed (did you notice?) due to mothers day – there was nothing more important this morning than having breakfast with my mother and nan along with all the family – I am also sending all my love to Perth for my “other mother” Mara and Nanna Vera, as well as to the Mornington Peninsula to the fellas mum Maurz  -these ladies are all equally special to me and I feel so blessed to have them in my life.  x

Anyway- mothers day aside, this week I found a site that has me all excited. it has a rather silly name (well I think so, and it’s my blog so i can call it what i like) but features a mix of hip and pretty stuff so I will excuse the lack of judgement on the naming of the site and focus on what is good about it. Which is alot. Head over to GLITTER INC for a browse on things labelled Lifestyle, weddings, business, shopping…a good mix no?  see what you think anyway. I am liking what this Lexi girl is doing

One of the homes on the above blog that I really like (and narrowing it down was hard, ‘cos there are ALOT that are lovely) was this one in Texas of all places. texas home

If you have been reading my stuff for a while you might know a bit about Walter Knoll furniture, the German company that recently flew me to Adelaide to showcase their furniture range and see how it is all made (very well I might add), everything that they do is lovely in a refined elegant but masculine kind of way so it was interesting when I came across blog that had done a feature on WK furniture that was shown in a movie…that i can’t recall the name of now but the furniture is hot!

I cant seem to do a post without featuring a Habitus reno so here is my weekly pick of those, a place built many years ago near Sydney harbour that has been lovingly restored and revamped in a way that compliments the old bones of the building: home

Along with a few spaces that inspired me whilst browsing. Colour seems to be the recurring theme in all things that appeal to me this week as you will see:

This spunky range of shower curtains caught my eye, they can be found at bang bang design in lots of designs.
I have a feeling I have featured this space before but it popped up again while I was doing a search of bright office spaces for a new client, so here it is again in all its primary colour glory

Lastly for the week a stylish wedding style shoot that i have to share as the dresses are all so lovely  … can you tell I’ve began planning my own? While we are looking at weddings how lovely is this woodland themed shoot?  I haven’t been doing any event styling lately but I have lots of ideas stashed away if anyone is in need of some help.
