I like these spaces more than I like most people.

I had an epiphany this week and now the times they-are-a-changing! Well, soon they are.

I was standing in the shower mentally calculating the renos, the homes, the events and styling and art and other bits and pieces of work that I have done this year and I thought ‘Now where the f*@k is all my money and why aren’t I filthy rich yet??’ I do design and renovations for some of Darwin’s wealthiest homes and businesses, I have done styling jobs for clients interstate as well as overseas yet I rarely get paid on time and am constantly held up by builders, weather, lead times and things out of my control so I am altering the focus of my little business ever so slightly to capitalise on an area of design and styling that I don’t think anyone else here is doing quite like I do and hopefully hopefully it will generate me a more steady income as I seem to be flat chat one minute and then flat broke the next and I am getting tired of flying by the seat of my pants ALL of the time. Or am I? Maybe being a creative type in this industry and the thrill of the chase is what I am addicted to.
