“A strong women looks a challenge dead in the eye and gives it a wink” 😉
I have finally curbed the tangle of jobs I have been wrangling and can see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel so I have had time to do some reading about other peoples designing instead of focusing solely on my own. On that note I have decided to renovate our own little bathroom, but more on that later.
I read about this tiny house – I love this chick , a young mum who has built her own “off the grid” tiny home to house her family. Maybe I love her because I have a friend who has just recently done this exact same thing after a very silly man chose a floosy over his family.
Adorable! I wish this lady and her little family nothing but happinessI love old houses, I always have. Creaky floor boards and ornate stair rails? Yes please! I would love an old house to do up as a project. My husband probably would not as he knows when I get all wild eyed and start pointing fingers and drawing diagrams and verbal vomiting ideas that is is going to cost him time. Time and money.
I have been researching some old gems of houses here.
a 100 year old lakehouse restored. THIS my friends is where I want to be, in a home like this full of my family surrounded by a bunch of wild rat bag creative kids and dogs.
Take me here!Somehow while design browsing (yes it’s a thing and I do a lot of it) I came across this adorable Brooklyn townhouse here. Isn’t that courtyard gorgeous and inviting? I think it is the cobbled stone floor.
This Victorian charmer got a modern makeover, I think I prefer them left in all their elegant beauty but this is a nice in blending of old and new.
That’s enough old stuff for one day, It is my 1 day off so I am off to do brunch and chase my dog at the beach and down some cans at the annual beer can regatta, A very happy sunday to you!
