Sunday session 10.7.16 ‘The craft fair’

This week I have no major highlights to share with you, it was mess of emails and selecting furniture and tiles and some art that I would rather keep myself than sell to my new client who tells me everything is ‘fanciful and fabulous’. yes indeed. I signed off on two projects and I started a new one.

A builder called me a diva behind my back a few days ago (If you know me you will see the irony in this as I pride myself on being a devout realist)  … Little did he know I have the hearing of a fox so I clicked my fingers, wolf whistled at no one in general and waved my hands around my face like a drag queen on coke until he went bright red in his and then scuttled away, All embarrassed that I’d called him out on his dickheaded-ness. That man didn’t know who he was up against. I got over it fairly quickly though as I know he’s just mad at me because I told our shared client that his interior selections were not dissimilar to an 1980’s penthouse apartment and Greeks don’t like being told things like that by little ladies like me, especially not those wearing ruby red jelly shoes.

Happy sunday to you! If you are in sunny Darwin you should make your way down to Tactile arts today where there is a craft fair on full of local art and homewares that I will feature later, arty farty goodness.

I am spending the morning inspecting and generally sticky beaking at the display homes in the new development areas of Darwin’s Mitchell creek and Zuccoli areas as my clients have been telling me they need some work so I am off to see for myself.
