14.8.16 ‘Just a sunny sunday’

I should offer my opinion only when I am asked for it. How do people do that though? Or why is that such a hard thing for me to do? In every day life, as in design I can’t seem to stop running my mouth.

Some spaces inspiring me this week:

All fairly neutral compared to my usual style did you notice? I blame my recent time in Melbourne for dulling down my flare for colour and making me a more boring version of myself. The cold does that don’t you know that?

I dislike boring fence-sitter type people who have a lack of opinions or morals (Yes I paint people who lack opinions with the same boring beige brush as people lacking morals)  Me, I like people who have strong convictions …but not necessarily strong voices and those aren’t afraid to voice their ideas and thoughts in general. I find these people are usually creative or mad. Or a mix of both which is even more fun!

Happy sunday to you anyway! I am doing no work today I have decided. Instead I am sorting out some samples and crap lying around in my office and taking up space on the sofa bed that I like to lay on when brain storming. Then I will hit the garden which is a total mess and has rats living in one of the bushes and then I will be hanging out with the fella and the hound by the water somewhere to appreciate the amazingly beautiful city that I live in and what a charmed little life I live.
